Hi, I’m Jenica! I’m an artist, photographer, filmmaker, and storyteller.
For over 14 years and 200+ weddings, I’ve been documenting love across the country creating photos and videos. I first picked up a film camera in high school and was hooked when I developed my first roll in the darkroom. That passion led me to study photography and documentary film, and then to move to New York City to launch my career.
Working with me feels like having a calm, supportive friend by your side.
I’ll give soft direction when needed but mostly stay unobtrusive and observational, letting your day unfold naturally. I have an artistic documentary shooting style, looking for the genuine moments that compose your wedding day — the excited glances, the joy of your grandmother seeing you in your wedding outfit, and the energy of people coming together to celebrate your love.
You’ll receive photos and videos full of laughter, tears, dance floor chaos, and quiet moments you didn’t even know happened.

Exploring new places has always been part of my life and continues to inspire how I see the world.
I’m half Guatemalan and grew up traveling to Central America at a young age, which gave me a deep appreciation for family, culture, and getting out of my comfort zone. After 15 years in New York City, I relocated to Arizona to live closer to nature and create space for the kind of artful, intentional life I believe in.

When I’m not editing at the computer, you’ll find me falling at the climbing gym, taking naps with my dog, hiking desert trails, working on my latte art and thrifting for treasures.
